Careers at Sapere Digital

Small team. Senior work.

Sapere Digital is deliberately small. We do not run a bench, we do not have an open req list, and we are not scaling the team to chase a growth curve. When a role opens it is because a real client engagement needs a specific practitioner. If that sounds like you, we want to hear from you regardless of what we have posted today.

Where we are right now

No open roles. Always open to the right practitioner.

We are not actively hiring today. What we are always doing is keeping a short list of senior practitioners we would call the day a client engagement lands that needs them. That list is how hiring here works: no career-page churn, no cold recruiter outreach, no six-round loops. When we call, it is because we already have work with your name on it.

If that ever changes, this page changes with it. Until then, treat the submission below as the door we actually check.

Who tends to fit

The shape of the practitioner we actually hire.

  • 01

Senior on the craft, quiet about it.

We do not hire junior. Not because juniors do not deserve seats, but because the engagement model does not have the runway to grow one in real time on a client project. If your work speaks for itself and you can defend it in a meeting without the deck doing the work, that is the shape.

  • 02

    Comfortable writing before pitching.

Scoping documents, weekly progress notes, and handover documentation are how the studio operates. If writing is the tax you pay to do the work, this will not fit. If you use writing to think, this fits well.

  • 03

    Numbers before opinion.

The parent firm is a CPA practice. That standard bleeds into every engagement. We would rather kill a beautiful idea that does not pencil out than defend it because the design deck is strong. If that framing feels reductive, this is not the shop.

  • 04

Comfortable being the only one in a room.

Client meetings often have one Sapere Digital person and multiple client stakeholders. You will be trusted to make judgement calls in real time and to bring the outcome back to the team afterwards. Not a place for practitioners who need constant cover.

The disciplines we build around

Where a call is most likely to come from.

Not every discipline shows up every quarter. These are the ones our client mix most often needs, ranked roughly by frequency of real engagement over the last year.

Web engineering

Next.js, React, TypeScript, Vercel. Deep familiarity with the App Router, Server Components, and shipping to a Lighthouse 95+ bar.

Applied AI

Retrieval systems, agents, and workflow automation. Model-agnostic mindset. Comfortable wiring the boundaries and the human review layer around the model.

Brand and identity design

Systems, not one-offs. Design tokens as code. Comfortable across logo, typography, colour, and templates that hold up on invoices and OG images.

SEO and organic growth

Technical SEO fluency, schema, and content strategy tied to what the business can credibly own. No black hat, no keyword stuffing, no dashboards for their own sake.

Data and analytics

Warehouse-first thinking. Comfortable with dbt, GA4, and building reports leadership actually opens. Bonus if you have wired the same pipeline in three different companies.

Paid + performance marketing

Google, Meta, LinkedIn ads. Attribution-literate. Comfortable killing a campaign in week two if the metric will not move.

Reaching us

What to send if you want us to remember you.

Send an email. Not a form, not a resume drop. A short note that covers three things:

  • The one project you would show off first, and one sentence on why.
  • Your working shape (full-time role now, contract, freelance, exploring) and rough availability.
  • A link or two: portfolio, GitHub, LinkedIn, or a case study. Not a full deck.
careers@sapere.digital

We read every note. We reply when a project fit is real, which may be immediately, six months from now, or never. If it is never, that is not personal. It is that the client mix did not land there.

How the studio works

Same operating standard as the parent firm.

Sapere Digital is the design, web, and AI arm of a CPA-led advisory firm operating since 2013. The operating standard is the same: written scoping, estimates that hold, timelines that ship, and documented handover at close. If you have worked inside a professional-services firm before, the rhythm will feel familiar. If you have not, expect more paperwork than a typical studio and more accountability than a typical agency.

We work in tight increments a client can react to, ship on real deadlines with real revenue attached, and hand over documented work so an internal team can keep running it after we close the engagement. That is the pitch to clients. It is also the working environment for the team.
